I contribute to the organisation’s strategic outreach by disseminating research outputs and facilitating stakeholder dialogues to enhance engagement across digital and in-person platforms. My responsibilities include podcast conceptualisation, marketing coordination, graphic design, and the management of the organisation’s website and social media channels.
Prior to joining TIPS, I worked as a researcher collecting primary data for the Health Economics and HIV and AIDS Research Division (HEARD) and the Institute for Economic Justice (IEJ). I also worked as a Field Operations Officer at Statistics South Africa for Census 2022. In addition, I was a communications intern at the African Centre for the Constructive Resolution of Disputes (ACCORD), where I led the conceptualisation and production of video learning materials for the Applied Knowledge and Learning Department, covering conflict management, peace-building, and mediation. This material formed part of the launch of their ACCNET.
Alongside my research work, I am an exhibiting and academically published photographer whose practice engages with questions of water governance. That’s it! Oh, I also hold a master’s degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN).
